French urban culture magazine Be Street has launched an art competition to revive the Bootleg Bart phenomenon of the 90’s.
After 26 seasons and a feature length film it is no surprise that The Simpsons characters such as Bart are used by artists to convey their thoughts and observations on current affairs or popular culture.
Vote for your favourite piece from the 65 finalists selected by the Be Street panel on their Facebook page. Voting closes on 28th June 2015.
This exhibition will be exclusively revealed in Los Angeles on 25th and 26th July 2015, followed by the Be Street Weeknd in Paris on 3rd and 4th October 2015. Free tickets are available for both of these events.
